“Make hay when the sun shines” not only a catchy saying but its the truth! We make around 65 acres of hay. Roughly half is our own and the other half is custom making for the neighbors. We can typically count on 3 cuttings a year and sometimes get a 4th. All we make is round bales that we then feed out to our cattle. If the weather doesn’t cooperate we do have a wrapper that we can utilize to maintain the best feed quality possible.
